K1 Instruction Packet

Hello,

 

We received an email notice from the Guangzhou US consulate and registered at ustraveldocs.com. We were able to pay the fee and schedule an interview. However, in various places, the instruction mentions that there should be a "K1 instruction packet" that we should have received.

 

From what I understand, that should be a packet listing the specific approved centers for medical examination. We never received that packet, but I googled and found a PDF listing the location of 4 centers.

 

I don't know whether what I googled was the latest information, and I was wondering what else were in that packet. Does anyone have a link to that packet?

 

I am also asking the consulate this question.

The consulate use to send out two packets before using the CGI Stanley US Travel Docs service. All the consulate sends out is instruction to go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/index.htmlfor the next steps after they receive the case from the USA.

One more note about medical, it is best to see about also getting the vaccinations and vaccination record done over there, it can save you $$$ and hassels.

 

Have the medical center do the DS-3025 And seal it in a separate envelope for later use in the states when adjusting status.

One more note about vaccinations, you only need to have started a series, not completed before the Med center fills out the DS-3025.

A couple vaccinations involve two shots, just the first is needed for immigration and can do the second later in the states.
