Renew Medical Now? RFE after Interview & Medical Doc Almost Expire

Hello Folks, need some input here. I already see the light at the end of tunnel. Really appreciate it!

Background:

CR1. My wife had her medical on Jan 6th, 2016. And then she had her interview at Guangzhou, China in Feb 2016. Then more documents were requested. One of the requested documents was Police Report from Kenya because she stayed in Kenya for about 4 years. It took us about 4 months to get the police report in hands, finally. Right now we are ready to submit the requested documents.

Question:

As her medical document will be expired in about a couple of weeks, should her get the medical renewed before we submit all the requested documents?

What I would do is contact consulate via their website email, explain situation and ask if can send in an updated medical report along with the police report.

Her visa will expire six months after the date of the medical exam. If this is acceptable to you, you may not need a new exam.

If they are asking for her passport, you may wish to send it in with that.
