Randy W
in the Smithsonianmag and NPR Chinese Cops Are Temporarily Patrolling the Streets of Rome and MilanA new experimental program put international police at Italy's tourist hubs to help the influx of Chinese travelers One of the biggest changes in the tourism industry in the last decade is the influx of Chinese travelers. According to the Wall Street Journal, China’s rising middle class led to 100 million citizens traveling abroad in 2014 with 234 million expected to visit others parts of the world by 2020, spending $422 billion. So tourist destinations are going to great lengths to make sure their infrastructure is as friendly to Chinese travelers as possible. That’s why, for the first half of May, the cities of Rome and Milan participated in an unusual experiment: they put Chinese police officers on their streets, Sylvia Poggioli reports at NPR. Allon
Now perhaps the cops can deal directly with the claims of rudeness by so many CHinese tourists. Link to comment
Randy W
. . . and NOW - Shanghaiist - Italian police go on patrol at the Great Wall of China People's Daily - Policemen of China, Italy make joint patrol in Great Wall http://shanghaiist.com/attachments/alexlinder/italy_police_great_wall3.jpgOver the next two weeks, the four Italian officers will be patrolling around the tourist hotspots of Beijing and Shanghai, alongside their Chinese colleagues, on the look out for Italian tourists in need of assistance (or selfies). They will not be armed and can not make arrests. . . . Liao Jinrong, head of international cooperation at the ministry, said that China hopes to expand the program to other European countries, like Spain and Austria, in the near future. Often, Chinese tourists in Europe are targeted by thieves who know that they typically carry around more money than most. Last December, a Chinese exchange student in Rome was tragically killed by a passing train while chasing after her stolen 1,000 euro purse. Link to comment

tsap seui
Huh? I didn't think the Italians were all that bad. We just had an Italian feller out yonder in Lost Wages sing love songs to us in our gondola as he pushed us through the waterways inside the Venetian Hotel. I swear I didn't see or hear no Satanic world government moves, or words, from him or any of the other Eyetalians we met in the big party. Here's a version of some of the singin' these Eyetalian folks give to us party goers in the gondolas. I looked for Satanic world government phrases that any of the singers were singing, but I can't pick any out. Here's some nice videos of what the inside of the Venetian Hotel looks like. Most of it is made to look like you are outside. An incredible resort....but, aren't they all? Edited April 25, 2017 by tsap seui (see edit history) Link to comment
Randy W
the Venetian Macau (same owner - Las Vegas Sands) - https://www.venetianmacao.com/ This gal's voice didn't carry quite so well, but she did try. I figured I'd better hurry up and get the picture while she was pointing me out Tom must be right - they're everywhere, but none of these people seem very Satanic Edited April 26, 2017 by Randy W (see edit history) Link to comment
Randy W
Unfortunately, they weren't there for these people in the Shanghaiist Chinese tour group robbed of their passports, luggage in Rome on first day of Europe trip One tourist told the Shanghai Morning Post that when they returned at the agreed upon time, they were informed by the driver that their luggage had been stolen, along with the tour guide's briefcase which contained all of their passports. The driver said that he had left the bus in a parking lot for one hour to go out and get some lunch. There were no signs of forced entry. Link to comment
