tommyhao Posted September 30, 2015 Report Share Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) I was pick up my issued IR1 immigrant visa packet yesterday.I found out the PHOTO in immigrant data summary is NOT me! But the passport is good. Will it be a big problem when i at the POE over the wrong photo? Can i bring the visa packet to U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou in person? dnoblett Posted September 30, 2015 Report Share Posted September 30, 2015 Whoever was at the consulate that use to read and answer questions in this forum has not done so in a long time, their last login date was Sep 09 2009 The best way to get answers from the consulate is to ask it here: http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/immigrant-visa-unit-question.html However who knows what pictures are attached to the contents of the sealed envelope, so yes I would see about scheduling a visit to the consulate and have them open and check the contents of the immigration packet, if one of the other consulates is closer, in your question to Guangzhou perhaps ask if this could be checked at a closer consulate (Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang, Wuhan) Link to comment
