My wife and I will have been married for 3 years at the end of March. It's time to apply for the 10 year green card. How do I go about filling for her and my step-daughter?

You will be filing an I-751, and in this case all you will need to do to remove conditions for step child is add an additional biometrics fee for each step child.

 

So only one I-751, and fees $505 + $85 for spouse, and an additional $85 for step child.

Then you can file the I-751 as early as tomorrow.

 

June 17 - 90 days = March 19

Just for clarification, make sure you file BEFORE the expiration date. Otherwise they will be out of status.

OK, I finished the form and printed it out. What do I do now? What documents do I need to submit and does my 19 year old step daughter need to sign the form as well as my wife and I?

You will need to attach photocopies of relationship evidence covering the past two years,
Photocopies of the green cards.

 

Step daughter does not sign the form, just be listed on the form and an extra biometrics fee added to payment.

 

Fees: $505 + $85 + $85 for step child.
