Just Starting Out

Hello everyone,

 

I have been talking with my Chinese girlfriend for a couple of months. I will be flying into Hong Kong at the end of March. She will meet me then and I can only spend about 9 days before I have to come back. I know we want to be together, so I want to start the i-129F and G-325A before I go over, so we can both look at it and be sure everything is accurate. She has sent me her information and I will print it out from the USCIS site one day this week. What I need to know is, are there any common mistakes that I can avoid.

 

My lady reads on 001, to share the experiences of other women. She is pretty smart, I just do not want to have any delays getting the paperwork processed after I get back to the US.

 

I have been reading some of your stories and I hope that I can add my happy story to all of the others.

NA vs None. A lot of RFEs (return for evidence) are because of putting NA where you should put none. If in doubt put none.

makes copies of everything you send to Bcis or USCIS

leave copies for your girlfriends

resp.

Get your wife/fiancees signature on multiple copies of the 325a, and the other forms.

Dont fudge on anything, make sure all information is exactly correct. Birthdates, Names of parents etc...
