How to Upload Pictures to the CFL Gallery

This is a tutorial for those who may be technically challenged or intimidated when uploading pictures of interest to other CFL members. Each member may post (and keep) pictures to the CFL Gallery which may be of interest to other members.

 

To get to the CFL Gallery, click on your member name in the upper right corner of the screen.

 

 

 

Then click on 'My Gallery', which will bring you to a screen showing any albums you have have uploaded previously. To upload a new album, or add to an existing one, click on 'Upload' on the right side of the screen.

 

 

 

Step 1 is 'Upload New Media'. Click on 'Create New Album'

In the 'Create New Album' pop-up window, give the album a name and any description you wish.

 

The 'Album Category' should be 'CFL Member Albums'.

 

 

 

It generally should be a 'Public Album' to allow other users to view the pictures in the Gallery. Click on 'Save' to create the album.

Click on 'Choose Files' to select files from your own hard drive for uploading.

 

 

 

Then navigate to the directory on your hard drive where the pictures are stored. Multiple pictures may be selected by using the 'CTRL' and/or 'Shift' keys.

 

 

 

As the pictures upload, you will see the progress indicators, along with a thumbnail for each picture that has completed.

After the pictures have finished uploading, click on 'Review and Publish'.

 

 

 

You may change the title to something more descriptive, or add a separate description, if you wish.

 

 

 

Finally, click on 'Finish and Publish' at the bottom of the screen.

To view your own pictures, click on 'My Gallery' under your username on the upper right of the screen and select the album you wish to view.

 

 

 

To view pictures posted by other members, click on 'Gallery' at the top left of any page.

Applaud for Professor Randy! I think there is something wrong with my computer system. I used to upload many pictures to my gallery, even a couple of days ago. Now I can't, for some reason. Thanks, Randy, for taking the time helping us.
