Required Home Town Documents for K1

I have not started the K1 process. My fiancee is in her hometown now so we wanted to know what documents she needs to gather while she is there. I know the birth certificate is on the list.

 

Anything else?

Only a notary divorce cert or death cert from prior spouse is needed when filing the I-129F.

 

Later for interview will need:

• Notary Birth Cert + English translation (Get 2 one for interview, and another for later use in the states)
• Notary cert of not married + English translation (Considered valid 6 months, best to wait till closer to interview)
• Notary cert of divorce(s) + English translation if previously married.
• Notary cert of death of prior spouse(s) if widowed.
• Notary police cert + English translation (Considered valid 6 months, get it closer to interview time)
