No more copy & paste either???

So guys, something is new. First I notice the video thing, now I can't copy and paste in the Quotes thread. So I posted the quote as a link and that worked.

 

Is it my computer?

 

 

I tried to copy from Outlook, no work.

 

Then I tried to copy from WORD. No good.

Haven't had problems like that, in fact the update before this weekend fixed some major problems in the editor.

 

One thing to be aware of is when copying from something that has formatting is best to flip the switch in the upper left corner of editor and then paste, it kills the formatting, then flip switch back to get full editor.

 

It may be a local problem with computer, try rebooting.

Candle is no fun anymore All these crazy ass new proceedures that you IT guys just love. Yall must have gone through a microsoft school of some sort or worked there, or who ever came out with these latest updates. I am having trouble on CFV the same way. It can't be my Gateway can it?

I'll put it this way - they (IPB) have a team of software professionals that they pay to do SOMETHING. As long as they can toss around a lot of words like "necessary upgrade" and respond with "Do you have the latest version?" whenever someone has a complaint, then they can make the competitors seem like "cavemen" in comparison.

 

Yes, "Microsoft-chasing" (simply keeping up with the latest and greatest programming techniques from Microsoft) is big business these days.

 

Your Gateway probably needs a new monitor and a new keyboard by now.

Programmers are getting as controlling as they were when all this computer business started.

 

I miss the days at LTV where engineers ran the company and if a programmer said something can't be done or didn't make things user friendly, because all programmers there were arogant to begin with, they fired the guy and got someone who would. Key word is would, not could.

 

Now programmers or who ever plans it, love to jerk us around with new proceedures. Typing in for a vidieo takes more time, and programmers are supposed to save us time, aren't they???
