warpedbored Posted February 8, 2013 Report Share Posted February 8, 2013 As I'm sure most of you noticed that we went down last night and were out most of the day today. Something was sucking bandwidth and since we are on a shared server our host Gator blocked us until we got it fixed. First off I want to thank Dan and Randy for all their help getting us back on line. Without them I would be screwed. I know at times mods piss people off but they also donate a lot of their time and effort to keep this site running and they don't receive a dime for it. It's a thankless under appreciated job. Dan has implemented some things to help and we are still working on a permanent solution. As Randy mentioned in the shout box we may have grown too big for our britches and we may need to go to a private server. At least part of the problem is bots mining the site. We will be discussing what we need to do to. In the meantime if we have more issues please be patient. Oh and BTW, I didn't forget to pay the bill.Carl Link to comment
