A California man who conned Chinese immigrants into joining his fake U.S. Army unit was sentenced on Wednesday to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty to counterfeiting and other charges.

There are many desperate and will do just about anything and believe anyone for a chance to gain legal status. This is an example of Chinese preying on other Chinese. Trouble is, most Chinese are afraid of the police for fear of deportation, so many of these scams are never reported and go unnoticed.

Here in the USA same nationalities have preyed on fellow immigrants beacuse of their vunerabilty. Water takes the path of least resistance.
