P4 list???

Where my faith in the One True God comes in with all of this is helping me believe that though GZ has no order, God does. I know that He has our exact wedding date on His "calendar" up there in Heaven and He will give us the strength to endure until His timing is right.

 

I do correspond with GZ just know what they will tell me, but all in all, God is the one who is in control and I would rather wait on His perfect timing than to have it all my way and possibly be jumping the gun on some part of the blessings He desires to give to us.

 

There are a lot of unanswered questions for Jacob and I. Some of which can't be answered until he gets here, but they are things we kind of would like to know NOW. Me being the girl and him being the guy throws our situaiton off a little compared to most others. I am actually still in school full time and only work part time right now, i live at home with my parents, i live with them again that is, not still, but anyway, we have a lot of challenges, as everyone else does too.

 

At this point, we are unsure how we will even make it financially, but all the while trusting in God to provide for us. We believe our relationship was brought together by God and we have the faith to know He will sustain us. We feel we are acting in His will by getting married, so we believe He will continue to bless us and show us His way. We desire to live a life together that brings honor and glory to Him alone!

 

I really felt like i needed to share all of that, so i hope that it may be helpful or encouraging for someone reading this. Find Christ, He is the only one in whom you can trust and depend. People will always disappoint you. in the midst of disappointments and frustrations from GZ and other parts of this process, we have sought Him for strength to continue, in times of success and victory, we have Praised Him for His blessings in our lives!

 

With Christmas coming up especially, it will be tough for some of us who are without our dearly loved ones, but never forget Who is always with you and Who's birthday it is we are celebrating in the first place!

Thanks so much for this post. I find it an inspiration and, having been through the visa ordeal of the Black Hole last year, I can attest that what you say is true, especially about God's timing in things. In retrospect, I see a wisdom much greater than my own in the timing in our case. Although I was as ticked off as anyone regarding the mess we were caught up in, the wait allowed us to complete some important work with some dear friends in China. Had we left sooner, this would have gone undone.

We're in the same boat, eligible for interview and waiting for P4. Hope to get it before the end of the year too, though some folks on 001 noticed that the P4's seem to only come out in the beginning of the month. So it may be January before we see them.

If I am looking at some of these timelines right, and I figure right, then there will be a good chance that my wife will have her interview begining of summer, if the processing does not come to a big halt for Xmas at the NVC, that is if I am figuring right.
