katnreno
My wife and I were married on April 24th in Beijing (Im American, She's Russian). We filed DCF (I-130) on May 7th in Beijing, China. We are currently waiting for confirmation that the I-130 was accepted. The problem is that I will be heading back to America at the end of this month and we haven't received confirmation of the I-130 being accepted. What may happen if the I-130 isn't accepted and we need to resubmit for some error on the I-130? How long does it take (from your experience) for the form to be accepted and for us to be notified? Will she be able to resubmit here in Beijing if I'm already back in America? Will we have to begin from scratch, with me submitting it from the U.S.? Thank you in advance. Link to comment

katnreno
Thank you dnoblett. If I understood you correctly; If I have already returned to America, then;if there was an error on the I-130 or G325A forms that we submitted on May 7th here in Beijing and it is not accepted as a result, then I must begin the entire process over again from the U.S. and pay the filing fee again as though we never submitted it in Beijing? Would you happen to know the average wait time for DCF/I-130 to NOA1 in Beijing? Link to comment

If you are in the USA this may be inconvenient. http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=27807 More by google searching CFL: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz...amp;btnG=Search Link to comment
waingro
There is no NOA1 for DCF's. You should be expecting an NOA2 within a month. If you're in America, you won't be able to resubmit by DCF. BTW, you should be posting in the 'First Steps' forum. Edited May 23, 2009 by waingro (see edit history) Link to comment
