rogerluli
Looks like Lu Li is headed back to the homeland for a New Year visit. We are waiting for her 10 year GC but it appears it will not arrive before she leaves according to the present 6 month backlog in California. We have the I-797 and the I-797C duly stamped that she completed biometrics. So it says her conditional resident status is extended for one year... Does she need to carry any of these NOAs with her or will just the GC be sufficient??? Link to comment

rogerluli
Going with her ? Nope... Did she tell you not to go? Every day she changes her mind on whether she's going or not...several times... If she's thinking of the money it will cost to go...she's not going... If she thinks of the FOOD... she's going... My 84 y/o mother lives with us and it is simply not possible for us both to be gone for any sort of extended period... Link to comment
