How long to receive P-4

We are in the same boat. Miss Wang's interview is scheduled for Aug 6. As of this moment (Saturday afternoon July 26th in China) she has still not received her P4.

 

I sent an email to the consulate in Guangzhou the other day, but their automatic reply email says I will not hear from them for 5-7 days. I'd love to at least be able to get a tracking number that Miss Wang can use to track delivery, or find out if it is lost. Anyone know of a way to get that. Or, is there a way that us American citizens can call our consulate without having to pay the fee. Or, even if I do need to pay, can I somehow be assured of talking to a person?

 

Anyone know what happens if we miss our interview because there was not enough time to get the medical check done? A few week delay I would not mind, but if we have to wait months again. Well, that would be rough.
