hankster
Our 14 year old son, James, has been here 15 months today. On March 7, 2007, he was crying in broken english as we left his village and headed to the border crossing en route to Knoxville. As of today he has earned a 4.0 average his freshman year in High School, grown taller by 6 inches, joined and excelled in the Farragut Optimist basketball league, and made many friends in the neighborhood and at school. He'll be travelling back to Shenzhen on his own (He'll be 15 then)next month for a 3 week visit with family and friends. He told me he'll be happy when the visit's finished and he can get back "Home"......amazing transition!! Today he starts his first job: ...Lily and I are very proud of him! Link to comment
