georgeandli
No extentions. The 90 days Starts when she arrives and gets the I-94 stapled in her passport. Scope out closest Social Security office and when she gets here get a card and Ill. State ID card. Consider first name issue, if she takes yours you might wait till after marriage to avoid changing things later. The Visa [K-1] Li got was issued 8/2/07 and expired 1/31/08. So valid for TRAVEL to the US during that window. Like I said the 90 days starts AFTER she gets here. Link to comment
dnoblett
K-1 is valid for 6 months, Visa_______Uses ValidityK-1 None One 6 MonthsK-2 None One 6 MonthsK-3 None Multiple 24 MonthsK-4 None Multiple 24 Months http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/reci...ocity_3537.html You have 6 months after receiving the visa to travel to the USA, and then after arrival you have 90 days to marry. Th 90 days is NOT part of the visa validity period, the visa is voided upon entry, and the 90 days of the I-94 begins. Edited May 8, 2008 by dnoblett (see edit history) Link to comment
