Visa Officer Tracking

Recommended Posts

Heya Fellas -

I've been reading about all of the denials and the actions of the VO's during the interview process.

I've also read about concept of the VOs accountability .

I think it would be a good thing to start tracking who/when - ie

which VO (Name, ID Badge #) and the date.

I'd be happy to start any type of statistical tracking about this -

but - before I take the jump -

What's the point? ( I Hear you asking yourself).

Everyone is accountable to someone. That VO has a boss, and if a VO is being a SH|T, we have a right to let that VO's boss know about it. We also have a right to demand fair and equal treatment to our SOs during the interview process, and get the same treatment all across the board, at all times, from ALL VOs.

Now, I'm just a starting on this road with my wife, but I've been down it before in the past, prior to 9/11 and everything getting tighter at the GUZ PigPen... There's this concept of fair and equal treatment, and from the posts this year (Re: interview results) I see that there is NOT fair and equal treatment between all of the VOs.

Sooooooooooo - what are your thoughts?

Warmest Regards..

Nice concept Darnell.

If your lady gets treated like an animal at her interview, would you have the guts to go complain about the interview VO at ACH the next day? Or make a formal complaint to the Consulate General? I didn't.

Why didn't I?

A) Who trains the new VO's in Guano, and sets policy for them?

B) By the Department of States own rules, who has the last say in the approval, or non-approval of your lady's visa?

C) By Congress's own law, who can intervien on your behalf in your case, or your appeal (sic)? I'll answer this one for you. NO ONE

It is a nice concept Darnell, and it reminds me of the guy who said he was going to send in his unsolicited P-3 at the 75-80 day time frame :D That takes guts, I didn't see it get sent.

You have absolutely NO Constitutional rights as an american citizen on that 5th floor. And they KNOW IT!!

I've got the balls of an Army helicopter pilot, but I ain't sabotaging the lil' rabbit's case by complainin' to the VO's (who has last say in her case) boss about that disgraceful and awful woman he hired to be a VO.

And if they give the lil' rabbit a visa, it'll be too late to complain...hell, it's already been almost 8 months of lost time together. :D And what's Charles got, 2 1/2 or 3 years????

We are honest people, we did nothing wrong, and we were, as, prepared or even MORE SO for that interview than even, Rogerinca. :D

If one of those VO's "profiles" your woman for whatever reason (and it could happen to anyone you've seen that got the visa) then you will quickly learn you have lost all your rights as an american citizen. And THEY know it. :D

But, I like your concept, Darnell. ;)

I'm at ease with this game the mice/clerks are playing, and I'll explain it later in "Our Stories". :) the lil' rabbit and I have been through hell, but we now have dropped all the wasted stress, just like the ol' Jawja boy and his wife. Those clowns ain't gonna dictate to us who we can live with. :P

Life ain't fair, sometimes you are given lemons. It's all up to you what you make out of them lemons. And...what goes around, comes around....hand out NO GOOD to others, guess what you'll wind up with your owndamnself.

Darnel ... unfortunately I agree with Tsap ... you and your intended/wife do not have a right to a visa. The way the system is configured if you raise hell about VOs you'll only lose.

Perhaps it's not "right", but it's the way it is.

Kissing butt and jumping through hoops is the only proper response. Winning is getting the visa.

I've posted this before, forgot about it last night, but it's very fitting for this thread, especially with the despicable, undignified, and outrageous way my fiancee and her 11 year old son were treated by the interviewing american VO.

In our case file is a documented statement made by the VO I met for ACH. A DOS "specialist" once laughed as she read through our file to answer(sic) a question I had....she said. "The visa officer you saw at ACH noted that you were a very nice guy." She laughed again and said, "I've never seen that written in a case before." :)

And....my fiancee and her son, with smiles on their faces, both told the disgraceful interview VO, "Thank you, bye bye" as they left her window.

My fiancee said it was the only time the VO ever smiled during the interview...said, "american official have very no understand (confused) look on face, then official have laugh."

How ironical, I say with glee, I'm a "nice guy", and the lil' rabbit makes her VO laugh. Absolutely touching isn't it?

The lil' rabbit and I are both dead serious about her visa application...and...we both understand that when someone, who holds all the controls over your situation, feeds you a shit sandwich, expecting you to eat it, they in turn only like honey on their sandwiches...know wudda mean?

We both despise the process and the americans working the process, but complain? Lose our smiles? Raise a stink? Not in this lifetime

We understand and focus on our goal....a goal that may well turn out to have a complete denial as it's conclusion....after the jerks make us wait 8 or 9 or 10 months of wasted time. :)

We're a happy couple, and we're gonna be together, american mice can only slow our togetherness as they unfold their devious plot, but they can't stop us from being together...now can they? ;) Read the bottom line of my time line. There's always a way. :)

Your reaction is exactly why localized oversight is needed.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm not stepping away from this.

just i think is no need to p*ss off the VO's who come to this site and try to be helpful in the GUZ speaks forum...i am sure is just a few bad apples that make them all to seem rotten....and this is not particular to the consulate...you will have this everywhere you go...that's life...is just unfortunate when having to deal with the rotten apples

Hi Steve - I understand your concern. I not try to p/o the VO who comes in on GUZ Speaks. In the same breath, accountability is everything - and there is no linkage on accountability, currently.

There is Ombudsman Service, but is blindingly slow. I aim to rectify the lag (among other things). Will not go into details at this point.

Warmest Regards..

There are brain dead employees down an my local Division of Motor Vehicles office that have been working there for decades.

I have to go there again and again over the years and deal with these people.

At least we (most of us) only have to deal with these "VO" for a short period of our lives, then we forget about them when we get through the process.

If we had to keep going back all our lives and see their faces over and over again, then maybe we would try to keep track of them.
