credzba
For the IR/1 and CR/1 visas, the children must be applied for separately. If the child is 15 when applied for, at the current processing times it is highly likely they will turn 16 before the interview is scheduled. While everyone wants there interview to go smoothly, it is more critical for children as we parents try to balance their school, and other life transitions. What should we do to ensure a smooth interview and visa for this age child? Should we go ahead and get the police report for the 15 year old, knowing they will be 16 before the interview. Is there anything extra we should tell or do for NVC or GUZ to ensure there are no delays in getting the child's visa? Edited February 5, 2008 by credzba (see edit history) Link to comment
