Mick
Although I posted this in the Immigration Challenges Forum, I thought I would mention it here for those who have been supportive of our struggles. The good news is we finally received a formal response from the Atlanta Regional Office, telling us our applications for AOS/EAD/AP have been received. They returned our money order for fifty bucks (fee for fingerprinting), stating that K-1 did not need fingerprints. This is highly bizarre in my view. The bad news is they told us that we would be scheduled for an interview in "no more than 36 months". At least we are together, happy, and united as we wade through this interminable waiting period. For a few more details, please see my thread in Immigration Challenges. Link to comment
wolf
Congradulations Mick,Now you have a paper with proof that you are following the rules. Enjoy your lives together and don't worry about the time. You don't want to waist time thinking about the government workings, take a walk in the park. Link to comment
