jameschun321 Posted June 14, 2003 Report Share Posted June 14, 2003 Hi all, I am a little confused with the K-1 fee. On my fiance's P4, one of the forms mentioned an immigration fee for $2881 RMB. I thought the fee was for $830 RMB. Can someone confirm this fee for me? Thanks a mil. JC Link to comment

owenkrout Posted June 15, 2003 Report Share Posted June 15, 2003 The CR-1 is for spouses of American citizens who have been married less than two years. The immigrant spouse will be granted a Temporary Permanent Resident status and will have to do an Adjustment of Status (AOS) after two years. The IR-1 is for spouses of American citizens who have been married more than two years. The immigrant spouse immediately obtains Permanent Resident status. Link to comment
