JimandSarha
Chinese archeologists discover song dynasty ceramicshttp://www.china.org.cn/english/culture/210346.htm I did a little digging. There are variations on type in the goods. You can see it in the spouts etc. There is also some variation in the material used suggesting wide inland trading that resulted in a consolidated shipment. This is leading to investigation of the trading practices to see if the trader was selling to more than one party on a route (similar to early Mediterranean trade) or if the trader had to buy from several sources to accumulate enough to make his shipment to a single customer. Interesting stuff. Jim Link to comment
