We just got home, and I will give you details later, but all in all it was a very smooth and successful endeavour! It looks like the plan you requested of waiting for the clearance before the scheduling the interview worked out the way you wanted (except for the name check getting lost for four months) so that you were able to be right there with her when she passed the interview and got the visa and you two could quickly take off and head for home. "I love it when a plan comes together." Congratulations also on passing the initial inspection and I am envious of you. We will be waiting for the details.
