Good Feng Shui & Bad Feng Shui

Recommended Posts

For those of you who don't know what Feng Shui is - Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art for homes and businesses, interior design and decorating.

Here are some items of importance that I have learned in the past. I know that you can look these type of items up on the Internet, but I want to know what your SO has taught you. And for those others who are waiting for their SO, remember you’re in training in this one! And then again some of you have not had any training yet so read up before your SO gets here!

Please keep in mind these are just important to your SO just as we have taken the approach of not walking behind a black Cat or walking under a ladder… or better yet – DON’T BREAK A MIRROR for God’s sake or you'll have 7 years of bad luck…

So here goes some of my list:

1. Don’t buy a house on the end of a street – bad luck

2. Don’t plant a tree in front of you front door – bad luck

3. Don’t buy a house whose stairway faces the front door – bad luck

4. Put a mirror in the front entrance way to send evil spirits back on their way – Good Luck

5. Post a RED good luck symbol on your front door – of course good luck!

6. Your house must face North or South – not east or west.

7. Before you buy a house you should consult a Chinese median to see if the spirits are good!

8. Don’t buy a house whose previous owners a) divorced ;) bankrupt c) died there.

So share your Feng Shui training with us and please contribute because inquiring minds want to know!

1.Don¡¯t buy a house on the end of a street ¨C bad luck

Right, when mopslap comes, you have only one instead of two neighbors to seek help from.

2.Don¡¯t plant a tree in front of you front door ¨C bad luck

When you run away from a mopslap, you'll bump your head on the tree :cheering:

3.Don¡¯t buy a house whose stairway faces the front door ¨C bad luck

When you arrive home drunk, you'll get bumps on the stairway.

4.Put a mirror in the front entrance way to send evil spirits back on their way ¨C Good Luck

Before wifey sees you back home, you can check in the mirror whether you have lipstick on your collar.

5.Post a RED good luck symbol on your front door ¨C of course good luck!

Sure, red is lucky, especially to those who drive through traffic light :cheering:

6.Your house must face North or South.

Sunshine in winter and cool in summer.

OK, my fiance did not like my green ball cap when I visited her, said bad luck. So chalk that one in the bad luck column. :cold:

I found this sight about all things Feng Shui a while back when looking for a book about tea for my fiance, and get the monthly letter from them.

Huh? almost every home has TV's in every bed room

I don't have a TV in the bed room, but I do have an old 17" computer monitor with Mac-Mini attached to it to act as an entertainment computer to play DVDs and other videos on.

Dose that count as a TV? :cold:

Eunice!

Absolutely classic!

Eunice, you, have been able to "top" every man in this forum! I see that your "third eye" < aka ¡°turd¡± eye, as Lee put it > is developing at a phenomenal rate. How does it feel? Isn¡¯t great to be able to see through the BS and state so!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, Perhaps, you are gaining the same insight I have. Can this forum handle two of us at ONE time!

ROFLMAO! This was one Hell of a good retort!
