The first of her 'purchases' caught fire today. Luckily I caught the smell before it simmered for too long. It was a converter from 220V to 110V. My first clue it might not be 'genuine' was because it had a hand written sticker with the voltage, opposite of the voltage listed on the actual device, under the sticker. So I had a sharp eye on it. It lasted 20 minutes, which is 10 longer than I expected, but Laopo was pretty angry. Link to comment
