What happens if after you have filed your K1, you find out that you have cancer and are going to be sick for some time? Does my health have any bearing on the K1 process?

 

I have both short and long term disability coverage so my income is secure, plus I have life insurance.

 

 

The next question is after my fiance arrives and we get married, if this shold get worse and I not survive, what does that do to the AOS?

There is precedence. A woman named Jimei we raised some money for here once who's husband died a few months after she got here before they finished AOS. Eventually she got her green card but it took her about a year. I don't know the particulars except her church helped her with a lawyer. Good luck with your treatment.
