remind them too, that you have played by the rules. you didn't bring your girl over on a tourist visa and keep her here after it expired, or sneak her across the boarder in the trunk of your car. you have jumped through every hoop and paid every fee requested.

 

illegal immigration IS a problem, but you and yours are not part of that problem. you are a good american, and deserve your right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Thank you for the encouraging news. I have the same feeling that my fiancee's case is completed also and is waiting for the clearance at GZ or DOS. I have no idea who is doing the clearance now, but A.S mentioned something about sending my file out but that still hasn't been done yet. I will call him again tomorrow.

 

It's so nice to see some of us here got our visa already. Things can only get better from here.

I am still waiting. any one has better suggestions on how to deal with DOS info line? some one(s) is(are) more reliable to contact about pending clearance?

my time line is:

interview: 8/23/02

resub: 1/4/02

waiting on clearance from DOS
