Recommended Posts

I'm leaving for China tomorrow and would like to download the forms that are in the P-3 for "K-3" My Wife wants them incase we don't recieve the P-3 while I'm there. I really don't know what are the contents of the P-3 or what forms are in it.

Q:1. What are the contents of P-3 for "K-3"

Q:2. What forms are in the P-3

Q:3. where to find to download

I would be able to help her fill them out ahead of time

If anyone can help, that would be great

Scott

K3

What documents will be in the instruction packet for K3 category visas?

The Instruction packet includes:

Instruction packet (Packet 3) letter in English

Instruction packet (Packet 3) supplemental information sheet

Letter to K3/K4 applicant

Evidence which may be presented to meet the public charge provisions of the law (OF-167)

Application for immigrant visa and alien registration (DS-230 part I)

Instructions for immigrant visa applicants (OF-169)

Important notice in Chinese (for photograph specifications)

Notice to all nonimmigrant visa applicants (list of CITIC Bank)

Medical examination instructions (GIV-8)

Medical examination for immigrant or refugee applicant (DS-2053)

Chest X-ray and classification worksheet (DS-3024)

Vaccination documentation worksheet (DS-3025)

Medical history and physical examination worksheet (DS-3026)

Nonimmigrant visa application (DS-156) and nonimmigrant visa application for applicants 16 years and older (DS-157) (two sets)

Here are a few links that I've tracked down.

I did find a copy of the DS 3025 in English.

The RichSun site seems to have the best copies of Chinese Forms that I can find.

Somewhere I found copies of DS-230 and I-134 with blue lines in the PDF. I don't know what the original looks like.

Hey Scott.. great news on an overdue notice !!!

For K3, you only need to return 2 forms (K1s have a 3rd form):

1. DS-230 (part I)

2. OF-169

For P3 (or P4) docs, here's the CFL location:

http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8778

You'll find that the DS-230 is fillable on the computer... but unless you have the full version of the Adobe Acrobat software, you can only type in and print, but cannot save it. If you have the full version you can save it and correct anything later...

For the OF-169, there is an english and chinese version.. fill out both.

The instructions say to collect the list of items first and then submit the form back to GUZ... Just check off all boxes [applicable] and send both forms back (meaning OF-169 and DS-230 part I) ASAP... Collect those items closer to P4 time.

At P4 timeframe, there are many more forms, including those needed for the medical exam.. you can look at the same link above and review P4 forms... she should get lots of passport pictures and you'll collect your financial info at that time too...

Good luck !!

I take it that on section 29 of the DS-230 the Petitioner is the USC. Is this correct?

Notarizing...

I have all my tax returns (since I started working at 15.5), but I am wondering what is involved in getting them notarized.

Also, do you see any red flags if I switch from having an accountant do my taxes 1995-2004 to just doing them myself in 2005? I'd still be getting the 2005 notarized (once I understand what that entails). I am not self-employed anymore, and I'm not claiming my wife yet, so my taxes are pretty cut and dried. No sense paying the accounting firm $350 to do it, when my accountant has since left, and they pawned me off on a newb anyway.
