Called DOS

Well I called DOS today and they told me all the security clearance

was done came back on the 9th, I asked them how long it would be

before they would send my wife the P4, they told me it could take

two months, is this right? or is this a canned response, I am getting

excited, are we finally getting near the end of this long road,

I was wondering with the speed up of the Embassy if it could

possibly be quicker than two months, I miss her so much

That's a fairly long clearance... given a normal clearance of a 1-2 months, your in the queue and get P4 about 4 months from P3. That puts you at that time for P4 right now, but if the long clearance truly occurred, then this could a delay in queuing you up for P4...

My wife sent the P3 back to the embassy at the last

of August 2005 or the beginning of September 2005, DOS

said they had received it on September 20th, I have been

calling them every week for the last four weeks and they

were telling me they were doing a security clearance

on her son, today they finally told me it had came back

on the 9th of December, i'm now wondering how long

should we have to wait on the P4
