no, I was not surprised, but your response validated my thoughts.... the difference is the distance apart... if you were in china, the time spent with the grandparents would not interfere with your bonding... but .. oh well, don't want to repeat myself again......... it is my opinion and thoughts, that is what makes this place so special, we can share with each other

I think that getting her mother here would be the best opinin that would go inline with the Chinese custom, and the baby certainly would not be far at all.

 

I have thought about a "nanny" ($$$$), or American style child care too. One option that Davids wife suggested to Joanna was to apply a visa for a nanny from China.
