drive_75 Posted October 27, 2005 Report Share Posted October 27, 2005 Everyone mentioned about GZ consulate only. Is this the only one to use for K-1 Visa? There was a section on the application to list which Embassy to use and I know there are other in Beijing as well as Shanghai. Are we allow to use these other places or we can only use the Embassy in Guangzhou? Thanks for your help in advance. Link to comment

If you married in China and were living & working in china, you could submit to one of the consulates... and it would end up at GUZ for interivew and issuing... A.1.10.17there is one Embassy and 4 Consulates on the Mainland:Guangzhou – Embassy, where regional filing and ALL interviews occur hereBeijing – Consulate, where regional filing occursChengdu – Consulate, where regional filing occursShanghai – Consulate, where regional filing occurs Shengyang – Consulate, where regional filing occurs Link to comment

Isn't a K-3 a non-immigrant visa for a spouse? I still think that the K's all are done through GZ. I think by non-immigrant visa they mean the tourist, work, and student visas, etc. Link to comment
