P4 TO INTERVIEW????

Hi all. My wife is worried that her interview in Hong Kong may be the day after she recieves the P4 how long does the consulate usually give you to between the letter and and interview?????????

I think it is usually a month, for our case and I think several others who have interviews in September have had more than a month notice between p4 and interview.

I think the shortest I have seen posted was two weeks and that was for Guangzhou, your going to HongKong and they have a whole different attitude

In the FAQs, I've got one CFL example of a HK timeline.. The one timeline I could find on VJ was consistent with the P4-Interview below:

Sent to consulate (HK)--------5/8/2005 (HK not GZ)

P-3 from Consulate------5/20/2005

P-4 received---------------6/18/2005

Interview-------------------7/20/2005 (In HK)

Passed!---------------------7/20/2005

Visa in Hand-----------------7/21/2005

 

 

You could continue to call DOS and you might get early notice by a week.

Yes, I believe there systems are all interconected. Have you contacted DOS yet for any reason? Call them and ask the status of your case.

ive only called bcis and nvc before my stuff was shipped to HK now things have been smooth so I havent called them at all

Call them right now. 1-202-663-1225 push the right buttons until you get a human, check the status of your case
