It's been a good one and not very expensive. My wife and stepdaughter uses it well. And it's still working just fine.136828I just heard of one today that is multi language that is supposed to be very good, it is called: L & H Power Translator Pro, lots of bang for the buck I am told.... warpedbored
Did any of you really find these gadgets helpful! My experience over years of international travel is that people buy them, then the novelty wears off and they don't get used. They are certainly not a substitute for actual classes (best) or CDs/tapes.136022To me it was indispensable in China. In a country where not many people speak English it allowed me to comunicate with the locals. For Bing and I in our early days it was a god send. To this day we call our pocket translators "my friend" even though we don't use them much anymore. Edited July 19, 2005 by warpedbored (see edit history) Link to comment
Randy W
I don't know if the others will, but the Yishin 888/Langwen 8688 will do entire sentences at once with very good success, although it helps to have your SO say MingBai or bu MingBai, and try minor rewording if the latter.
