The Information Team JimYes, a new form letter. However, I notice a subtle difference here. In all the past form letters I received, they always stated they had not received word from "US Authorities". Here they specifically identify DOS as the party from whom they will receive notice. To my knowledge, this is a new wrinkle. Of course, I may be wrong about this as I have not received anything from them in the past week. Now I am confused more. According to DoS, the clearance doesn't show up in their system until it is entered by GZ. Now GZ says they are waiting word from DoS. Again, someone please enlighten me on how this works exactly. Mick... Ther is no explanation you or me will be privvy offIn my case, DoS says they "requested" GZ to resubmit... On other posts Dos said.. Well, we're not waiting on those GZ folks to do that ! We did it ourselves on Jan 4.. Not true.. I'm a living example. I was only resub'd 1/27 according to an email from GZ. So the "we took care of earlier cases... we're working on it, we resub'd everyone " line is total BS.. and we all know it.And when they say " US authorities" or "stateside" versus "state Department" it means squat. This is not a new wrinkle. State is their boss in the food chain..Just a matter of phrasing. And the saga continues... Act XXII Link to comment

Joseph-1
I contend as I always have that these cases are sitting in a box in Guangzhou. We know better. Link to comment
Ana
from what i have heard (which may very well not be true), gz does not send paperwork to the states, merely the applicant's name. thus, why would names, easy as pie to send, be sitting in a box? that wouldnt make sense. we are too annoying. it would be easier for them to send.
