  1. You must consider yourself very lucky if this is the case, and I can see that your I-129F has been processed in a center which is not Vermont, which is the fastest one. I can guess your case is close to complete the name clearance check. Mine was sent 44 days ago and no answer yet, I'm becoming a nervous wreck, just to think about our friend Clifford case makes me very anxious. Good luck and let us know what follows.

  2. Hi everybody, I just got back from a business trip to Arizona, had the chance to see the Cubs losing 10-1 to the Diamondbacks last night. I entered the candle tonight hoping to see the good news from Carl, hopefully we''ll know by tomorrow morning. Also checked the cute video, it made me think about why do we have to go thru so much in order to get our loved ones to be at home with us. Browsing thru the recent threads made me sick to my stomach, what is really going on? Entered the USCIS site, the processing dates moved to as of April 22, and to my surprise they are still processing the I-129's received on February 21, if so, it means that after 2 weeks (April 8-22) they are still processing the same date

(Feb 21)!!!!! What do you guys think about this? I'm totally confused here.

  3. Hi guys, just out of curiosity: how frequently does this people update their processing dates? I've noticed the last update was on April 8th, 2 weeks ago!!!! And what is considered to be the norm concerning how many days of applications they process in a single day? This last one may depend in different factors, but I would like to know your experiences. I'm still in this phase and as you can imagine, I look up my case morning and night.

  4. OMG!!!! I'm so happy for you two!!!! I have been thinking of you all this past days and hoped you write to us soon. I responded tonight to your e-mail. This guys around here are so great, they make me company, support me and are great friends, it's like a family, even though I have not met them in person, because we all share the terribleness of this process and understand well the anguish. Glad to hear everything went so well at your wedding, congratulations and many, many blessings to you and Jacob.

  5. Carl, I know you must still feel very frustrated, but now I can see you are getting over it and thinking clearly. You can't escape from your travelling to China, and should feel blessed from the reassurance given by the guy from AAC, as he has gone thru the same and finally succeeded. I know you will too, don't despair, it's just a matter of time and a little more effort on your part. Bing definitely needs your company and support, I was talking to my bf this morning and he said maybe she just got too tense at the interview, but I'm sure that whoever has the chance to see a video of you and Bing communicating to each other, will agree yours is a true relationship. I just wonder why some of this VO's are so unreasonable, as we are the ones who are feeding their tables, without us there will not be a reason for them to be there. Anyway, swallow your anger now, it's not a good time to show it, it will make things worse. And remember: "there is no rose without thorns". God bless and good luck. :o

  6. Dear Carl, I'm speechless, it just seems so unfair, and it does not make any sense to me that you have to produce a tape speaking Chinese when you don't really know the language and Bing and you communicate in English all the time. I have had you present all day long. I wonder when Bing goes back to the consulate, does she has to speak to the same VO? Can anybody tell us how does the process goes in a case like this? Can you just show up or do you have to get another appointment? I also understand they receive american citizens at a certain day and time at the consulate, maybe you can try speaking to someone and explaining your situation and bringing the whole bunch of evidence you got. Try sending an e-mail at first asking what exactly they expect when they make a request like this and make questions according to what they usually ask (a proof of relationship). Once you know, then you can make travel arrangements and do whatever is necessary. I am sure you already have all the evidence they are looking for, if a tape is needed, you can do it in China at the time. Best of luck, and remember you got our 100% support.

  7. Hey Carl, we will be anxiously waiting for your good news, I'm positive Bing will make it, you Candle guys know the way... A piece of advise from a lady: candlelights for the first dinner together, a bow on doggie will add a humorous touch, a " welcome home" message, a perfumed man, maybe flowers at the airport. Best of luck, and before you know you'lll be telling us here that your Bing it's on her way to USA. B)
